The latest Grouptyre/Pirelli promotion will run from October 1 to November 30 and once again aims to build retail sales through the independent sector. Tyre retailers and auto servicing businesses will be entered into a special prize draw based on the number of Pirelli car, van and 4×4 tyres they buy from their local Grouptyre member during the promotion period.

Maranello, located about 20km south of Modena in northern Italy, has been home to Ferrari since the 1940s. Guided tours of the factory – which comprises some 45 buildings covering more than 250,000 sq ft and employs 3,000 people – are generally reserved for dealers and their customers, so the Grouptyre/Pirelli promotion winners will be the envy of their family, friends and colleagues.
There are two first prizes of an all expenses paid trip to Italy for two people including flights to Milan and the Ferrari factory tour. The winners will see manufacturing in progress and will visit the Galleria Ferrari factory museum – which traces the company’s world class automotive heritage and includes displays of single-seaters, prototypes and Gran Turismo cars plus trophies and memorabilia – and the Ferrari Store.
Two runners up will win tickets for a Pirelli-sponsored track day, where they will get the chance to put a single-seater racing car through its paces and learn about karting and skid control, and there will be five further prizes of a Pirelli rally jacket. All prize winners will be selected at random at the end of
the promotion.
